I've been a fan of the Castlevania series ever sence my brothers
introduced them to me when I was in 2nd grade. So when I heard for a
Castlevania fighting game with some of the most legendary Castlevania
characters, I was prettey excited. To my dismay, though, I thought the
playable character roster was a little lacking...
The playable characters (and apperances) are;
Simon Belmont (Castlevania, Castlevania II, etc.)
Alucard (Castlevania III, Symphony of the Night, Aria of sorrow, Dawn of Sorrow etc.)
Maria Renard (Rondo of Blood, Symphony of the night, etc.)
Trevor Belmont (Castlevania III, Curse of Darkness)
Eric Lecarde (Bloodlines, Portrait of Ruin)
Sypha Belnades (Castlevani III)
Grant Danasty (Castlevania III)
Carmilla (Casltevania III, Circle of the Moon)
Cornell (Legacy of Darkness)
Golem (Rondo of Blood etc.)
Shanoa (Order of Ecclesia)
Aeon (Judgement only)
Death (About every game)
Dracula (Aout every game)
This is a great line-up for a game with the series' most popular
characters, but I think it could've used a few more characters, such as;
Richter Belmont (Rondo of Blood, Dracula X, Symphony of the Night, Portrait of Ruin)
Nathan Graves (Circle of the Moon)
Soma Cruz (Aria of Sorrow, Dawn of Sorrow)
Hector (Curse of Darkness)
Shaft (Rondo of Blood, Dracula X, Symphony of the Night)
The Succubus (Symphony of the Night, Lament of Innocence)
Elizabeth Bartley (Bloodlines)
But, that's just my opinion. Heck, I would have even enjoyed seeing
Count Olrox from Castlevania Symphony of the Night in this game. Anyone
else share my opinion that the character roster was a little lacking?
