Before infinity mode, make sure you get the mega man buster - very very helpful against the psychopaths and zombies.

1. have someone to talk to, or atleast have someone wake you up every 20 mins.

2. Killing the sniper family is a must, they drop atleast a day of food, they spawn on the first day in leisure park and on the 6th day in the entrance plaza

3.you may want to have something else to do since most of the time you will be sitting and pressing the the use button every 20 mins

4. other than the sniper family there really is no one else you need to kill, i did fine living off of the food in the mall when i got it, and still had some food to last me a couple of days. but if you want feel free too

5. there are plenty of safe places to hide in the mall where zombies can't reach you. Use them!

Have fun! I've done this achievement twice (technically I got to day 6 the second time, but I chose to sleep) and the first time what Kurt said was correct, make sure that you have all three food enhancement books, and that you always have at least two pieces of food, or know where food is easily accessed, and kill those damn snipers(The second run I didn't kill them, because I was just playin around). Really, if you get bored while doing this (i.e. Sitting in a non-accessible area for zombies [i.i.e.e in the center of the diamond store in paradise]) you'll get tired or slip up easier. I ran around trying to find as many psycho's as I could, standing still for merely ~5mins at a time. I also tried to use the laser sword and the buster as little as I could, and got to ~3000 kills with one of each. Just set little challenges for yourself. Hell, kill Kent with a frying pan? Get through the maintenance tunnels with just a soccer ball? There's more than enough food to get to 7 day survivor, so don't worry about taking damage. If you have fun it'll be 10x faster and enjoyable. ALSO, don't fall asleep on day 6 hour 11, or there's a clinically proven chance you'll commit suicide. Good luck!

Really good tips, I will make sure to post whenever I get the achievement but I probably need some preparation mentally and physically before I jump back into it. Thanks guys!

and also like jake said make sure you get the 3 health bonus books, i forgot to mention that.

Also you probably don't need a guide, like john said enless you really don't want to attempt this achievement more than once, otherwise you just need a map of all the food and a list of when and where the psychopaths spawn.
